W.A.L.T:Blending and shading using oil pastel media.

This is my Pastel art that I did.I used shading and blending to make it look realistic.This is how I did it.

1.First I drew a circle for the moon.

2.Then I scribbled the black red and orange and yellow onto the paper where I wanted the colours to be.

3.Then I grabbed a tissue.

4.Then I smudged the black. red orange and yellow.

5.Once I was done smudging and blending I blended white into the moon and I also blended some black into the moon.

6.Then I drew some trees in black.


7.Once I was done the trees I dotted white oil pastel for the stars.
And that is how I did my pastel drawing.

One thing I could have done better is do the tree properly.

Cyber smart DON'T FALL FOR FAKE NEWS

W.A.L.T: Being aware of phishing and hooks and scams

Today in Cyber smart we did a slideshow of what is real and fake news.
There where 4 pictures of fake or real news.
and on the next slide we had to write why.
I did a couple real and fake and then I did one of them real and fake.
This is how I did it.
1.I looked and the picture of the slide.
2.Then I Went onto the next slide a wrote why it was real or fake.
3.If it had email/slide I searched up the email or site and looked if it was real or fake.
4.The I searched up real and fake pictures and dragged it in to the slide  and put it where I wanted.
5.Then I used the squiggle pen tool and circled if it was real or fake.
And that is how I did It
One thing I could of done better is maybe make it more with the topic.

Netiquette poster (CYBER SMART)

W.A.L.T:interact online safely and appropriately using Netiquette framework.

Today my whole class had to do a Poster on google drawing that is about netiquette.
This is how I did my poster.
1.I went onto google drawing and named it Meri netiquette poster.
2.Then I made a background.
3.After that I did 2 square and inside them I did Negative and in the other one I did Positive.
4.In each square I did what they would both mean.
5.Then I did the title with letter from special characters.
6.Then I found 3 good pictures and put them on my poster.
7.and then I was done.

I really thing that I did good on my poster and I don't think I could have done anything better.

I like his art because it is fun to do and you can do a lot of cool patterns. Mine is the top picture and his the bottom picture.

Mine is not the same as his but add lest I gave it a try.

M.C Escher art

Walt: To create a  fantastic Geometric art of M.C. Escher.

These are my to M.C Escher art.
Our whole class has been working on M.C Escher And we have all done more that one of them.
a lot of people enjoyed doing it because you can use different shapes and colour to do it and colour it in.


This is how we did it.
Before we did anything we had to watch the videos on how to do it.
1.Grab and square piece of coloured card.
2.Use a pencil to draw a shape going up the card and across the card.
3.Then cut the shapes out and move then straight up and straight side ways and tape them there.
4.Then trace the whole sheet of paper with the card and It will look like a puzzle but with the shapes that you used.
5.Then colour it in how you like. Step 5 and 6 are optiona
6.If you want you can go over the outlines with a permanent marker.

One thing I could of done better is maybe not rush.

King Midas and the chocolate touch

W.A.L.T: write a story like the king midas and the gold touch but do the king midas and the chocolate touch. This is my King Midas and the chocolate touch. This is how I did it. 1.Read the real story. 2.Do a plot. 3.Do the character plan. 4.Write the story. And then I was done. I really like doing this story. It took me About half an hour but I managed to get it done.

Jim Dine Charcoal Art

W.A.L.T: Create a Jim Dine tool In the style of Jim Dine. I did scissors It was very fun Drawing this picture and using charcoal. This is how I did it. 1.I drew that outside with pencil. 2.Then I Went over the outline with charcoal. 3.Then I smudged It a little. 4.After that I Started going around the outside in the motion of In and out. 5. Then In did the outline more darker. And the I was done. One thing I think I could of done better is have a more bold background. If you think I could of done something better comment down below. Charcoal abstract art

W.A.L.T : design a art piece of charcoal art that is like a picture off the internet but change it. This is how I did mine. 1. I drew what I was going to draw with pencil. 2.Then I when over the pencil lines with charcoal. 3.Then I smudged the charcoal Outside and Inside. 4. Then I went over then charcoal again but darker. 5.Then I Dabbed the dark line lightly. 6.Then I did the outside of the picture by scribbling then smudging it. And that is how I did my picture. Cyber smart Photo's angles and shots

W.A.L.T: To take different photo's and shots and explain what the purpose is. This is Me and my buddy Harmony's Photo angle's and shot slideshow. We are practising to take different pictures and shot's for the Manaiakalani movie making competition. This is how we did it. 1.We picked a shots that we would take.. 2.Then we took 2 of them so we would both have a turn of being in the photo. 3. We saved the photo's off webcam toy. 4.Then we went back onto our slide. 5. Then we pasted The picture into our slide. 6. Then we had to do the purpose of the photo. And that is how we did it. King Midas And The Gold Touch ANIMATION

W.A.L.T: create an animation That Is like the King Midas story but the gold touch.
We have been working on our animations for the past 1 weeks.

 My is the King Midas and the gold touch. Once I have done writing the story about it I will post it for all you to see. My other animation I did was similar but it was a play animation this one is a story animation.

 Before we did this we had to read an article about the king Midas and the gold touch. Then we did an animation of it mine is not that similar but then it is kinda similar to the story. My animation Is for fun.

 Maybe in your own time you could read the King Midas and the gold touch article yourself. One thing that I could have done better I maybe make it like the real story more. If you think I could have done something better comment down below.

Jim dine charcoal art

W.A.L.T:DEVELOP PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE AND IDEAS FOR OUR ART This is my Jim dine art that I have been working on. This is how I did it, 

1.I used pencil to draw what I was going to draw.
2. I went around the outside of my pencil darkly with the charcoal.
3. Then I came In from the left sides of the 3 mountains and smudged the charcoal smoothly.
 4. I stared to smudge the charcoal into the middle of the mountains.
 5.The I did the grass area.
6.I did the top of the grass dark in charcoal.
7.Then I started to drag my finger all the way down to the bottom of the paper I had smudged it from dark to light.
8.Then I did some cracks in the mountains.
9.After I did the cracks I did a sun on the right hand side of the page.
One thing that I could have done better is maybe make some of the outlines more bold and maybe do more smudging. If you think there is something I could have done better comment down below. And if you like my charcoal drawing comment down below.

Screencastify of how to attribute and explore photos

W.A.L.T: we were learning how to attribute images So first I had to attribute a picture. 1.I searched up the photo I wanted. 2.Then I clicked on the image I wanted. 3.Then I clicked the little button that said visit. 4.The I searched for the name of the person that took the picture. 5. I copied it and put the name on my slide. 6. Then I made a link for the copyright code. 8. After that I did a link for the name of the photo. 9.The I went back to the site. 10. then I had to screenshot the picture. 11. Then I pasted It into the slide. 12. And there you go that is how you attribute a picture. The I did how to use Explore to insert a picture. 1.Click the button that says EXPLORE. 2.Then search the picture that you want. 3.Then pick the photo that you want. 4.You can click the plus button or click the photo and then click insert. 5. And there you go there is your photo and it is already attributed. I also said what the difference of both things are. watch my video and you will see. I enjoyed Getting photos off explore and I was able to learn how to attribute a picture, and about copyright. If you liked my video comment down below. Gabriel Moreno Art

W.A.L.T:Create a picture in the style of Gabriel Moreno. This is my Gabriel Moreno art. This is how we did it. 

1.First we took a photo of our self's facing sideways. 2.Second we made the picture black and white then we printed it out into an A3 piece of paper. 3.Then we traced the outside of the picture and all the t-shirt lines and eye and mouth and etc. 4.Fourth we practised patterns and cool drawings to do on the background and the body. 5.Then we did the pattern in pencil. 6.Then we did light medium and dark sketching on our hair and body. 7.Then we did all the easy and difficult sketching. 8.And the end we had to go over the big and medium lines and pattern with permanent marker, to get a good and bold out line and look in our picture.

Playing League Quality Blog Post Example

This is a picture of Totara class playing league in the court. We played a game of league but it was touch because we were on concrete. This is how you play. 1.Get in to two teams. 2.Then captains play rock paper scissors to see who kicks or receives. 3.Then the winner picks if they want to kick or receive. 4.The person with the ball will kick it across the ground and the other team with grab the ball and run. 5.The team with the ball has to run and the other team has to try and touch them. 6.When the person with the ball gets touched that person with the ball will pass it under it's legs and the dummy half will grab the ball and pass it. 7.Before you can get a try you have to pass the ball twice or more then you can score the try. 8.Once your team has been touched 5 times it is a hand over. And the other team with tap and run. 9.And you carry on till the refs say last try wins. That is how you play league (touch). These were the teams. 1 team. Me,Hinewai,Kingston,Lexi,Che,Tyla,Isaac,Matthew,Lara,Lola,Riley and Kobe. 2 team. Kyra,Lyla-rose,Dakota,Parati,L.J,Tawhiri,Cash,Dylan,Arahi and Julia. My team won, but you know it isn't about winning it is about having fun. One thing that my team could have done better is to try harder and giving it a go. One thing that I could have done better is Maybe planed something with the team so I wouldn't have been the only one to score the goals. My writing purpose

This is my writing purpose. This is how I did it. 1.Looked on Pobble 365 fro a photo to write about. 2.Then I did my W.A.L.T. 3.Then I did my paragraph planning. 4. Then I did my plot which is a couple words that explains a paragraph. 5.Then I wrote it down in the story. 6.Last of all I Edited it to make it the best story. My purpose is Entertaining people. This is another still life picture. I Copied it off one of my class mates picture. It was very hard to draw. but I managed to draw it. Hope you like it.

Still life tools

This is a slide show of all the tools that I have drawn. I like to use proportion to draw my tools it is a easier way to draw tools. I will be adding more tools onto this slide as I draw a tool so there will be more. My teacher showed me his daughter work and the black outline inspired me to draw like this. I like to draw tools and black outline work so I just put them together and now I like to do tools with black outlines. If there is an easier way to draw tools, comment down below. My Still life drawings

Hi these are my Still life drawings of Pomegranate's This is how I did it. 1. First I looked up the pictures that I wanted. 2. Second I drew the out line of the pomegranate. 3. Third I Started smudging the pencil in to make it realistic. 4. Fourth I Started doing all the good and hard bits. 5. Then I was done. And these are my pictures. I really liked to draw fruits and tools in my next post I will show some tools that I have drawn. I need to work on the bold outline and I need to learn to have and better likeness. The running man Animation

This is my animation that I have been working on it for a few of weeks now. I have been working on this animation while we have been doing cyber smart with whaea Donna who is our Manaiakalani Facilitator. I have been doing it on google slides. My animation is about the running man.the running man is a man that runs every where. While I have been doing this I have learnt how to get pictures a easier way instead of going to google and saving it and then pasting it the hard way,why not use the easy way. This is how you do it you click on insert button and then click image and then on the side of that it will say upload from computer and search the web you click on search the web and then you can search what ever you want and then you click the one you want and then push insert and their you go there is the picture.the reason we did the animation is it was to have some fun and learn some things. I have been doing it by myself but some people in my class help me to get the things that I want. Brody in my class helped me to learn how to get pictures and helped me how to copy the slide.
